MODERN DAY HERO

Each one of us can be a hero in every small things that we're  doing that may benefit other people and if we have a good purpose in  that. Being a hero doesn't  mean you have a super power or unbelievable ability, you can help people in your own simple ways.
Family is everything to me, why? Because ever since I was born , my family is always there for me to protect, take good care, guide and teach me how to be productive individual. I admire my family, every time there is an obstacle that comes in our life my family thought me how to survive and overcome every problem. In family I was molded as a person
Without my family I will not be like this, a strong, productive , well motivated , have faith in God and knows how to value and appreciate the importance of FAMILY.

WIKA NATIN ANG DAANG MATUWID

Language. It is means to communicate to others, our medium in expressing our thoughts, opinion and advocacy. the mere ties of every family from each other. Our power in participating national and local issue concerning our protection and benefits againts ignorance and abuse. Our language is our edentity and unique individuality that signify our history and origin. A very important treasure that no one would ever take away from us.
The importance of our language must be given value because its always use in our everyday living, from school, home, street, work, business and other day routine of our life. use as a direction, warning and way of learning. Its a medium to gain knowledge and be expose in different field of work and profession. A bond in making friends and reaching other people. Church use language to enlighten our mind, give your hope and good values and deeds . Government use our language in reaching out countrymen for support and empowered their advocacy.
For me, our language is a good medium and powerful source of wisdom. a democratic means of giving our opinion, and a cause to our right, give us the courage to express our side in uplifting our way of living. Our confidence to face different people. A vocal to proclaim our independence and our right for choice. It is our freedom againts ignorance, injustice, poverty, abuse and pre-occupation of foreign country. Our language is our soul, character and symbolism of achievement toward the righteous path and value of our wholeness as a Filipino.

REFLECTION: FIRST QUARTER

Its only a month ago when the class was started and now its the end of the first quarter of this school year. I didn't notice I was now a senior student preparing to leave my high school life. I learned a lot in the past years not just the lessons in every subject but I also learn how to make my self comfortable with other people's company.

I don't think this year will not be too easy for me , in the first quarter I already encounter the things that makes me think that this will not be easy like projects, lots of assignments and also the lessons that makes me sick !

Above all this difficulties that makes me sick I just think that this are all for my own sake, for my college. Just have some patience and learn more :)

STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS

For me, the state of the nation address of President Benigno Aquino imply with positive view that our country Philippines have gone portion of economic development. He stated all the accomplishments his presidency have done for  the past years of his term. From manufacturing, tourism, agriculture, infrastructure and different sector of our economy have increase there profit that lessen the dept and economic deplation of the country. He condenm some sector of our government that exercise corruption and foster bad image which emphasis that fair justice still govern within our premises. Through he had done some development, its not enough to say that he is doing best in his term. There are some factor of our economy that he neglected to emphasize specially the increasing of unemployment.
During SONA , he doesn't put his flat form for the next year about what plan he must implement for the betterment of this country , he didn't give any update regarding his promise about the law of freedom of information . Therefore there are some neglegence in his address that is mainly significant for us to know as a member of our country .
Above all , in 65% satisfy about his address but he must considered those things that have significant value for the majority of the countrymen , uplifting people from poverty through more employment , low price of common needs and necessity good infrastracture and continues support in agriculture.

LETTER TO PRESIDENT

June 27, 2013
Vigan, Ilocos Sur

Hon. Benigno C. Aquino III
President
Republic of the Philippines

Dear Mr. President,
I would just like to take this moment to briefly discuss with you my dilemma with our new government, which many say, is the cure to our ailing country.
When you won the current presidential elections, I was disappointed that the person, who I really wanted to win, lost. But, of course, being the nationalistic person that I am, I stayed optimistic and told myself that you weren’t a bad choice anyway and can still make a huge difference in the country.
But here’s the thing, Mr. President, I have been hoping and praying for the rise of my beloved country since you won. But, until now, I cannot seem to feel nor see that the Philippines is indeed ascending, in a great way. You seem to be more preoccupied with cleaning and doing away with whatever former president, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo had done or has left the government in the past.
I am not questioning your capabilities or your plans for the country. I know you only mean well. All I’m saying is that the constant rise of primary products and the fall of the Philippine peso seems to contradict most of the things that you said you would change for the better.
Bottom line, Mr. President, I would like to see a more effective governance from you and the new government. I wish you would not be afraid to push the envelope once in a while. People would probably criticize you, but it’s for the country anyway. After all, you were elected not to always make people happy, but make a more economically sound country.

Sincerely yours,
Ailyn Melitante
